Going For Broke is a fast-paced sitcom roleplaying game about a collective house scrambling to get enough money together. It’s designed for easy learning and fast-paced play.
The game uses a set of twelve roommate cards, each representing a potential roommate in the house. Choose your roommate, choose an episode premise, and dive in. Each episode opens with an argument about how to deal with a huge expense, which spirals into two ill-conceived plots. Ultimately, one succeeds, the other fails, and we’re right back where we started: with the house barely getting by.
The Digital + DIY Kit contains everything you need to play Going For Broke virtually or to print out your own physical cards at home.
It includes:
- A gallery of card images, available in three versions: regular, printer-friendly, and side-by-sides.
- Playsheets so you can play without cards, available in four versions: full-colour letter, printer-friendly letter, full-colour A4, printer-friendly A4.
- Print-and-play pages so you can easily print out your own cards for assembly, in both letter and A4 formats.
- Overlays to use for streaming the game, in two sizes.
The rules are not included in this kit, because they are available for free online.
4-8 players, 40-70 minute episodes.
